Make Your Vinyl Sign or Custom Banner Memorable!

A few weeks ago, we posted a few tips telling you “How to Design an Eye-Catching Banner.” Well, we’re back with some more tips! 2010 is drawing to a close and 2011 holds unlimited possibilities for your vinyl banner needs. Get off to a good start in the new year and take a tip from our list of best practices for creating eye-catching signage.

  1. Don’t be afraid of color! Long gone are the days of black and white, type-faced banners. Add some colorful graphics and fonts to your signs to really make your message stand out. Use brilliant and rich colors to complement all of the elements as a cohesive message.
  2. Location, location, location. You’ve created a banner that will turn heads, so don’t hide it in a low traffic area. Take some time to research locations that will put your vinyl banner in front of the most eyes. Stake out a few ideal spots and spend an hour at each location and count the number of people that pass by in a given amount of time. The one with the most passer bys should be the home for your newest creation.
  3. Bigger may or may not be better. While you want your message to stand out above the rest and be seen for miles and miles, don’t make it obnoxious. Stick to a basic size that will draw attention but not overwhelm. Consider the message, how much space you will need and what is appropriate for the new location you have just scouted out.

Follow these steps and you will be on your way to an unforgettable banner. Still need more help and ideas? Talk to our talented team today to get started on your next project.
